Shooter2749 is accurate. They eliminated regular sales and flash deals since most customers wouldn’t purchase until it looked like a flash sale. I’m sure many people waited and waited for a better price, then either forgot or the offer ended, resulting in missed opportunities. Now the deals aren’t as profitable, but you won’t have to check Steam ten times a day.
