I don't understand why it wasn't included in the game's price. I paid the full amount when it launched, and after enjoying the beta, I thought I'd like this version too. After playing for 16 hours, I noticed the six weapons and six maps weren't enough to keep me going, especially since I was unlocking many weapon attachments. Now there were three copies of the same two-only map DLC, which was when I stopped playing.
