Thanks for the feedback! I’m currently using a Be Quiet! case and really like its design, which is why I opted for another one. I checked out other cases but ultimately it comes down to personal preference, as long as the fit and airflow are good.
No need to change anything.
Opt for selecting it yourself, because once you have it, it becomes part of your home and belongs to your computer. The only situations to steer clear of are the inexpensive ones that lack many quality-of-life features—they turn computer ownership into a hassle. I have to admit, I like the appearance of that beQuiet model.
Yeah, but I'm a bit of a fool. I didn't realize you were planning to use an AMD CPU.
FlareX or Trident Neo are the right options.
BUT!
The kit you choose isn't mentioned on Gigabyte's memory support page, which worries me:
https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Motherboard/...ort-memsup
Luckily, the only Flare X kit available is the 2x16 5600 CL36:
https://www.gskill.com/product/165/396/1...C16GX2-FX5
G.Skill doesn't provide details about the V2 version of that board, making it hard to confirm compatibility with kits tested on non-V2 B650 Gaming X AX. It's best to trust Gigabyte's guidance.
You might consider:
- Taking a chance with an unsupported kit
- Choosing a slower 5600Mhz CL36 model
- Selecting another G.Skill or alternative 2x16 kit listed by Gigabyte
The fastest supported 6000Mhz G.Skill is:

Higher speeds mean increased latency, which you probably won't prefer. A middle ground could be this 6400Mhz CL32 kit:

Black and ARGB versions are also available.
Thank you for reviewing. I already knew about that, but I decided to switch from the Gaming X AX V2 to the EAGLE AX by Gigabyte. It doesn’t really matter if it works, but I could easily move to the Flare X5 and then to the Trident Z5 or Z5 NEO, which are both listed on my original QVL. My main reason is cost—Flare costs 120€, Z5 131€, Z5 NEO 132€, EAGLE AX 166€, GAMING X AX V2 182€—so I made the choice based on budget. Let me know if you think differently.
