Hi Everyone, I just got a new Acer laptop running Windows 10 (9750h and RTX 2070). I’m trying to set it up but most of the software I need won’t install properly. Some .exe and .msi files work fine, but others like my university programs and 7zip don’t. When I try to run them, I get an error saying the installation package can’t be opened. I’ve tried opening them with CMD or batch files, but nothing works. I found a way to install .msi files if they’re on the boot drive (CSmile, which works then. But .exe files need to be extracted first, and that doesn’t seem to work either. I’m having trouble with admin rights too—even after creating another admin account, it still only accepts C drive access. Any tips or solutions would be super helpful!
