I need to restore Windows 8.1 Pro on my computer since it’s in poor condition and I don’t want to deal with the mess. I downloaded the installer from Microsoft using the product key that’s currently active on my system. The installer says the key isn’t valid, and I’ve tried installing it on another machine without success. I’m looking for a genuine .ISO file that hasn’t been altered or cracked so I can reinstall Windows properly. Any suggestions where I might find such an authentic version?

Utilize the native restore option? The link provided points to Microsoft's official restore page.

It might be simpler and more cost-effective to repair the item instead of restoring it in a factory setting.

I attempted that and received a message saying "Windows is missing some files, the recovery media will fix this for you." You mentioned it required a recovery disk but I don’t have one. Edit: I took a screenshot.
