I was curious about how much I could push my system's overclocking limits with a high airflow case. I'm just starting out and don't want to risk damaging my CPU. What's a suitable overclocking speed for my setup? My current configuration includes:

Case - Corsair air 540 3 intakes 3 exhausts
CPU - FX6300
Heatsink - Coolermaster V8 GTS
Motherboard - MSI 970 Gaming

It depends on your performance in the silicone lottery. Some characters did well, others not so much. I've tried two 6300's and one 6350, achieving 4.7 GHz on simple air or water. 4.7 GHz was the best I could get. But I'm not the most patient OC'er.
