For those familiar with TVs, I purchased a new board linking the left and right ribbon connectors, yet the left side of the screen continues to flicker in brightness. The device is a 55R6E Hisense. IMG_0587.mov

It seems the issue might be with a different control board for the backlighting or the backlighting near the LCD panel. Without being able to inspect the TV directly, it's hard to confirm, and you could end up spending more on parts than the replacement TV itself.
