Hi, your Intel dual-band wireless AC card is advertised as M.2, but it doesn’t quite fit the slot on your Strix B550A motherboard (about 1 mm short). You’re wondering if removing some plastic around it might help. It’s an interesting thought—though not guaranteed to work, it’s worth trying. BT headphones would be a good addition either way!

It says here that the Board Form Factor is HMC and M.2 Are you sure your card is M.2 and not HMC? Because I think HMC doesn't fit in M.2 slot. If you think it's M.2 with plastic in way you could take a photo so we can tell.

some motherboards include them too, or you can purchase pci cards with the appropriate slot, though the m.2 slots on op's board are all m type. for ssd drives, and generally most wifi cards use key e. if your motherboard has key e, it should work. more details: https://www.atpinc.com/blog/what-is-m.2-...y-socket-3
