Recently, I've noticed brief lag spikes (1-2 frames) while playing Geometry Dash. These only happen a few times per level, which is concerning because accuracy matters a lot in this game. It seems to be the only one with this issue, unlike more intense titles such as GTAV, The Wither 3, or Hitman 2 that run smoothly. I don't think the problem is with my monitor, since it appears on another display too. It's also important to note that this has started recently; I haven't experienced it before on this PC. I've searched online for fixes but feel like I've tried everything. Since the issue persists, I'm giving it another shot. I've adjusted various game settings, switched between windowed and fullscreen, changed power settings, prioritized the game in Task Manager, updated GPU drivers, and tweaked several NVIDIA controls. The RAM is Corsair 2x8 GB, CPU is Ryzen 7 2700X, GPU is MSI RTX 2080 Gaming X Trio, motherboard ASUS ROG Strix X470-F, storage is a Samsung SSD 860 EVO (about 80% used), and I'm using the Acer Predator XB271HU monitor. Any assistance would be really helpful!

I'm facing the same problem and have already tried all the solutions you mentioned. It's been six months with no improvement, and I'm running out of ideas. Please let me know if you've discovered any updates or fixes since you posted.

They suggested lowering the monitor refresh rate to 120, which resolved the issue for you.
