The system is showing an error during the creation of a new partition after shrinking a disc. When using the New Simple Volume wizard, choosing 'yes' triggers a different prompt and halts the process. The reason behind this behavior isn't clear from the message provided.

This didn't go as planned! I was familiar with the Windows partition wizard before and usually faced no issues.

It’s just a small device with certain constraints (some designed intentionally). This means you’re allowed to rely on more advanced, third-party solutions. Of course, you can still express dissatisfaction, but it won’t fix the issue.

I already set it up, but the free 11 version has limitations—other programs like AOMEI don’t work without risking data loss. I’m curious if MiniTool behaves similarly. Would anyone have a success story using the free edition without losing anything?
