Comparing average and peak temperatures helps assess cooling performance. A high average (like 65°C) suggests consistent heat, while a low max (like 80°C) indicates occasional spikes. For a Ryzen 9, keeping both within safe limits is key for longevity.

I usually avoid temperatures around 90°C and prefer below 80°C for consistent performance. If that wasn’t the case, I’d be okay at 95 or 100°C.

Irrelevant unless OC'd or fixed at Tjmax. The processor will reduce performance to stay within set limits, continuing until it becomes outdated.

I operate at a resolution of 5900x. Perfect for comparison with 5950x!

Focus on peak temperatures, 5900x works well around 80°C during high demand.

Shifted focus to CPUs, boards, and RAM. *** Temperature limits are key. For instance, Intel aims for around 75°C. IIRC Ryzen are a bit warmer than that. As long as you stay within those ranges, it doesn’t matter much.
