General performance problems observed in FPS gameplay.
I've been facing problems with my PC for several weeks now. Performance drops in games sometimes cause noticeable frame drops, but they're not extreme. In Standby Memory, it often reaches near maximum usage and stays above 17GB. Call of Duty is a good example—I usually maintain around 190 FPS on average, though it can fall to 140 during intense moments. Streaming with Duel Setup hasn't helped much either. I've checked my PC specs: GPU MSI 3070 Ti, CPU Ryzen 9 5900X, RAM Patriot Viper 4 DDR4 32GB, 3000MHz, Motherboard MSI Gaming Plus X570, Windows 11 Pro 22H2. If you need more details, just let me know.
Video mainly shows people similar to my CPU but always use the same GPU. GPU temperatures never exceed 65°C, driver version 528.02 is active as recommended, and the CPU is cooled by a Noctua DH15, keeping both GPU and CPU under 75°C. Only opera gx, Discord, voicemeter, and Open Resource Monitor run while gaming so I can monitor standby memory usage.
I also tried ISLC, it resolved the problem effectively. You can find more details here: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1256
I've experienced it before, I can't recall the reason for stopping. Let's run a quick test. I tried it with ISLC and got a real match result, and compared it to Call of Duty benchmarks. Only tested with Call of Duty as the main game, which had problems with major drops. The ILSC settings used free memory set to -16344, poll rate 1000ms, timer at 0.50. Game settings ranged from low (180) to high (275) for live matches, and larger maps (145-222). There was one stutter during play. Benchmark averages were 193 (5th), 153 (1st), 139 (low). CPU averaged 231, GPU 211. After some time, FPS tended to drop.
I still don’t understand what’s going on unless you’re aiming to break FPS records, which makes Windows 11 a questionable choice from the start. Don’t compare stats online unless you’re using the exact same machine and settings on a fresh Windows version with standard drivers. I’m not sure what you mean by standby mode—I’d power off the system completely to reset the cache. Also, avoid hibernation; both options are unnecessary for SSDs today. Ignoring the streaming side is wise, as it adds many variables like your location relative to the server, server traffic, player count and connection speed, overall network congestion, background processes, recording apps, and system stats. Ultimately, can you play the game? If yes, then everything’s fine. To improve your setup, remove any background tasks that might disrupt your gaming experience. Also, don’t measure performance in online games—opt for offline titles instead.
