Hello! I’ve been trying EVGA Precision X1 Overclocking software for easy GPU overclocking. Here are my questions, which are new to me.

1. Should I keep launching the software every time I want to overclock my GPU? Or does the overclock remain active once applied?
2. If I replace my 1060 with a 1080Ti today, will uninstalling and reinstalling the GPU drivers require me to stop the overclock or tell the software to halt it? Or will the software recognize the new GPU and stop trying to overclock it automatically?

I just want to be sure about switching GPUs because of the overclock, and also check if after installing the 1080Ti I can use EVGA Precision X1 again without constantly restarting the software.

The software needs to be active for the overclock to work. That sentence fully addressed everything! Thanks!
