I enjoy the series; it's definitely worth getting if you're a Gears of War fan. There seems to be a language filter involved, but I'm uncertain about its performance on an APU.

It's tough to determine if you've never experienced a gear game. Many people either enjoy it or dislike it. The game features a distinct style and graphic filters.

Still, the horde works well since it pairs nicely with xbone. Playing through the campaign feels great and runs smoothly at 60fps in 3440x1440 resolution, with most settings set to ultra and a few adjusted to high. It's one of the top PC releases this year in terms of performance.
