So far everyone seems having trouble with Far Cry 4, mainly due to stuttering and dropping frames. I checked the XML file (located at C:\Users\Moe\Documents\my games\Far Cry 4) and found a line saying IsQcTester="0" which means the current player is marked as a Quality Control tester. I changed it to "1" to indicate I’m claiming to be a QC tester, and surprisingly the game ran perfectly. It looks like the developers might have disabled the final version for some reason—maybe for testing or marketing. If you own a genuine copy of the game, could you try it out and let me know what happens?

Hey, this might be a possibility. Make sure you review your settings—QC could be adjusting them to lower levels.

I really hope you're just trying to provoke a reaction. If it's real, I'll definitely stop supporting Ubisoft again.

Is the purchase still beneficial? Is Far Cry 4 an open-world experience? I'm seeking more expansive games and FC4 seemed appealing.

I'll attempt it in about an hour and a half, once I'm free from my current task and reach my desktop.

It's noteworthy that several updates have been made to files, each aiming to improve performance.

I tested every option and nothing helped. I’m sure it solved my issue—I’m running everything at full power in 1080p, except for AA which stays on SMAA. You’re all surprised too.

It's strange I experience very fluid gameplay in FC4 W/O without making any changes to the files. It's not ideal, but my frame drops stay around 40 frames or less and are quite infrequent.
