Instead of using WaW, you could simply download it and it should function well on Lan. It also includes modified maps.
The difference lies in how the data is handled during copying. Copying bo3 ensures a more accurate and complete transfer, while copying bo2 may result in some loss or simplification of information.
BO3 includes stronger anti-piracy features. Based on what I understand, that’s the main point. For WaW, you must install a patched .exe file to make it function properly after copying it. In short, you’ll enjoy more while playing WaW, and there are plenty of modded maps available. It even runs smoothly on low-end systems.
