Have you considered whether the issue could stem from the memory not functioning properly in your system?

Have you considered if the memory issue could stem from a compatibility problem with your system?
No, I haven't. Everything functions properly with default configurations. The memory specifications are 2666 MHz.

I also had trouble with his i7-8700k. I’m puzzled about why, but I really need a very high vcore to let the CPU perform well... extremely high, actually. For 5GHz I require around 1.48v on my Asrock Fitality Z370 gaming i7, and on the TUF it’s about 1.46v. I’ve disabled the CPU so it stays stable at those voltages, but it’s not a pleasant setting. It’s a really bad CPU overall... all reviewers seem to have picked the best Intel options for this device.
