Will the expiration delay affect games released after 2015? Or is there another reason I’m confused about bottlenecks? And if you have an alternative CPU suggestion, I’m listening. Thanks ahead.
Do you currently possess the CPU or intend to purchase one? I’m running a 1700 OC to 3.9 GHz with a 1080, and everything seems fine. Regarding bottlenecks, it’s important to recognize that no system is flawless—each has its limitations. However, in my opinion, this setup is solid, offering ample space for upgrading to a more powerful GPU later. P.S. As someone who first got a Ryzen, OCing can be rewarding and lead to noticeable improvements with early models.
You already possess certain parts. The initial Ryzen models aren’t ideal, though they won’t cause a bottleneck with a 1070. Over time, the 1070 may stop working or you’ll need to upgrade, making it beneficial to have something more powerful than the first-gen Ryzen.
