I chose to set up Windows 10 Pro with build 10240, but I was puzzled since my DirectX version was 11.2 instead of the expected 12. It seems there might be an issue with the setup.

It's still pending. Just because it's Windows 10 doesn't mean it only works with DX12. In fact, it struggles with version 11.2 due to the poor Nvidia drivers. They're working on fixes, but they need to deliver quickly since the release is coming soon.

It's just Windows 10 now, no more 10240. Probably a few extra bug fixes if any remain.
