Gaming sickness ?
I haven't played PC gaming much as a child, but I moved from PC to PS1, PS2 and so on. Recently I bought a new PC at the start of the year. When I play games like Far Cry 3 and others, I sometimes feel unwell. Is this related to game settings? I prefer 60fps, but it feels smoother than expected. Could this be a problem? Where can I find more information about these settings?
I recently experimented with filming using an intentionally unstable camera at 30 and 60 frames per second. Watching the low-speed footage was quite uncomfortable, though 60 fps worked better. My advice is to always shoot at a high frame rate and disable effects like motion blur that could worsen the issue. You might want to try turning it on and see how it affects the result.
I feel sick during fast-paced games with limited perspective, which makes me steer clear of them.
I lack prior knowledge on this topic, yet I’d explore options to reduce blue light or use Razer Gunnar. Adjusting settings to turn off motion blur might help too.
I recently upgraded from a 23-inch to a 27-inch screen and noticed some dizziness while playing games like Far Cry 3 and CS:GO. Adjusting the distance seems to help, so I think I was too close initially. What kind of monitor do you use, and how far are you seated from it?
I attempted to modify it in CoD: WaW but failed, so I gave up. FPS games aren’t really my thing, though I could try CS:GO.
