ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming SLI/ac Intel Core i7/9700 Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition CPU, G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series RAM (2x8GB DDR4), DDR4 3600 MSI GeForce RTX 2060, Intel 660p series M.2 1TB NVMe 3.0 x4, WD Blue 2TB and WD Green 120GB SSDs, Rosewill ARC 450W PSU, and a single +12V rail. The motherboard is Intel 4th Gen compatible. I followed part of a Linux guide and the manual instructions. Once everything was assembled, I connected the PSU, waited for it to stabilize, and then turned it on. A red light began flashing on the motherboard—initially unsure if it was normal. After checking online, I found several solutions for similar issues. I reversed the PSU and unplugged it before turning it back on again for documentation. I'm uncertain about this; it seems to be a brief display from the GPU, likely linked to the "Intel Z390" chipset on the motherboard.
You completed everything, reinserted the battery, returned all items, and tried again with each stick individually—it still produced the same result. You noticed a brief flash of white or blue light before switching to breathing style red light. Thanks a lot for your support! You should check the LEDs under the chipset—they’re indicating activity. Testing without the graphics card, RAM sticks, or SSDs also worked, showing a brief blue/white flash before breathing. Looking at the attachments, the arrows on non-split cases (excluding LED+ and LED-) point to positive connections.
