I recently upgraded to a new z390 motherboard and 32GB RAM, but I’ve faced frequent crashes while using Fivem, Fortnite, or general gaming. My screen freezes completely, then restarts abruptly without warning. The PC becomes unresponsive, shutting down instantly and restarting shortly afterward. I’ve tried everything to troubleshoot: checking RAM placement, running Windows Memory Diagnostic, updating drivers, testing GPU dust, ensuring BIOS and Windows are current, and verifying storage health with chkdsk. I also looked into the event viewer for error logs after crashes and found a relevant KB note. My friend suggested checking the GameInput Service on Reddit, which pointed to an issue with an outdated install. They removed the old version, which helped stabilize Fivem playtime—though it still crashes occasionally with errors. I’ve double-checked disk IDs using command prompts and disk management tools, but the problem persists. I’m unsure how to resolve the disk identifier conflict and want to enjoy gaming without interruptions.
