Hello, for your girlfriend's gaming PC, I’d suggest a Ryzen 3600. It’s powerful enough for her Sims and WoW without being too heavy for 60 FPS. For the GPU, your old GTX 1070 Ti should still work well.

You won’t have to search far, a 1600 AF is more than sufficient—especially for those titles. Plus, it’s more affordable too.

3600 might be too much, but combining it with a 1070Ti feels ideal. She should also get a 4K monitor, though!

She's playing on my 4K display, which I use for editing. Some games run in 4K or 1080p depending on their demands, so I considered whether a Ryzen 2600 would work fine.

When speed isn't a priority, 2600 or even the 1600AF (with a lower range starting at 2600) work well.

I've noticed the 2600x for 99 USD at Microcenter. That was 60 dollars less than the 3600 price. At 60hz, I wouldn't think they'd pick up a difference between the two, particularly in those kinds of games. They used to list the 2700X for 139, but I believe it's now around 179. Some of their deals are really impressive.
