Many games become unstable and close down approximately five minutes after starting (including CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Forza Horizon 3) unless I completely reinstall my Nvidia graphics drivers on the day of installation. I’ve ruled out overheating, as both my processor and graphics card maintain temperatures around 50 degrees Celsius (monitored with an NZXT camera). During these freezes, I continue to receive audio—including repeated loops of music and sound effects like gunfire. I've attempted numerous troubleshooting steps found online, encompassing driver reinstallation, BIOS updates, using older drivers, scanning for Windows file errors, and other methods.

Hardware Specifications:
CPU - i3-8100
GPU - 1050 Ti (Overclocked)
Motherboard - ASRock H310M-HDV
Operating System - Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Have you manually adjusted your graphics card’s performance settings? That might be the cause. Reinstalling drivers would effectively remove any overclocked settings, correct?

The graphics card appears to be running at an elevated clock speed using MSI Afterburner.

I attempted a similar approach previously, and it was unsuccessful.

If sound becomes stuck in a repeating cycle while the screen freezes, should you need to power-cycle the device?
Have you attempted disconnecting the 1050 graphics card and testing the integrated display adapter?
