It seems unlikely to be a homework-related problem since it's occurring only with these two games. We can still consider it potentially related to homework.

It seems odd that just these two games trigger the restart. Did the new SSD or Afterburner stop working? Have you executed the SFC/scan now?

We'll focus solely on the games. Have you attempted running them with administrator privileges, checked the file integrity in Steam, reinstalled the games, and adjusted the Windows power settings?

I'm still waiting on the new SSD to arrive (tomorrow). The afterburner/Rivia tuner turn-off didnt work.
I have verified the integrity using steam. I uninstalled the programs (and deleted the remaining folders in the steam folder), I changed my power settings to high and not letting the disk go to sleep. I will try to run both steam and uplay connect as admin to see if that makes a difference.

I started the process in the GRW directory for GRW and executed GRW.exe with admin rights, it functioned properly. I realized I had forgotten my login details for War Thunder and need to reset that. Should I be allowed to run everything as an administrator on my PC?

When executed with admin privileges, the game functions properly, though switching tabs during loading or startup causes it to restart.

Creating a quick link on your desktop for every game allows you to right-click and choose run as administrator, enabling the game to launch from there.

I discovered the issue was resolved. Both GRW and WT include "easy anti cheat". After updating the version released on 20-1-2022, launching WT via the launcher showed no problems when the checkbox was off. It would restart automatically if checked. Thanks for your assistance!
