I recently purchased a new PC and started playing Fortnite. It was only playable at a very low frame rate—around 10 FPS. Performance mode functions but it still stutters between 240 and 29 FPS when I break a tree. There were moments when I was driving through the map, and Doom 2016 showed microstutter at every checkpoint. CS:GO also had issues, with my FPS dropping from 144 to 130 when I opened the menu, returning to normal afterward. It seems the problem might be linked to my SSD, RAM, or CPU. Temperatures are normal, CPU stays around 55°C, and GPU is similar. I’ve tried almost everything: a clean DDU install, power plan adjustments, reinstalling games, lowering settings, adjusting FPS caps, checking connections, and toggling sync options. The specs are: RTX 3070 GB, i5-12600K, Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB, 3600MHz RAM, Gigabyte B660, XMP enabled, Gigabyte B660 gaming PSU, NZXT 750W plus Gold Navis F240 cooler, WD Blue 1TB NVMe SSD, Windows 10 Pro. It’s really frustrating, thanks for any assistance.

Update the bio, turn off RAM XMP settings, check Device Manager for display adapters—if Intel UHD Graphics is present, disable it and restart the computer.

Bios has been refreshed; previously attempted to turn off xmp and uhd graphics, but they remain inactive.

Update GPU BIOS, install CrystaldiskMark, check SSD health. Use only one RAM stick and place it in a different slot. The reason for choosing an NZXT PSU isn’t because of the issue—just picking good cases over PC parts. I’m not implying the PSU is the problem.

I discovered updated bios and activated the resizable bar to refresh the vbios, but it didn’t make any changes. Now I’m testing CrystaldiskMark.

GPU-Z indicates the resizable bar is active, meaning your VBIO needed an update.
