gaming pc cpu and gpu issue
I have an AMD A6 R5 7400K and recently upgraded to a new GPU, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB RAM. My issue is that my FPS increased after installation but dropped back to 30 to 40 FPS even at low settings on Dota 2. Without the new GPU, my performance was around 50-60 FPS. I’m unsure if the problem lies with my CPU or the new GPU, and I want to know which hardware needs overclocking—CPU or GPU?
Remove the Palit application and proceed with downloading DDU. Begin your computer in safe mode and execute DDU to uninstall the Nvidia drivers. Once restarted, let Windows install the GPU drivers. Check whether the frame rate improves or declines.
The system is utilizing the graphics from the R5 in the APU rather than the GTX 1050 Ti. Did you link your display to the GTX 1050 Ti?
