Hey there, I've been using iTunes for gaming music for a long time and have heard mixed reviews. What alternatives should I consider? Also, I need something that works with Apple devices since my mom's iPod syncs to my PC. Thanks!

Unless you face problems with iTunes, I'd skip others and keep using it.

While using steam, I stream audio from youtube or pandora. However, when someone speaks over the voice chat, the music disappears.

Foobar 2000 stands out as the top choice, though it seems iTunes is the only music player currently supporting iDevice synchronization. There used to be a plugin for Foobar that worked with iPods, but it appears outdated now.

I rely on iTunes since it organizes my files automatically. I’ve tried FooBar, which is good, but I still favor iTunes.
