Adjust the controls slightly. I mostly skip games unless they run smoothly at 60 frames per second.

It might be thermal throttling. Consider tracking your temps using tools like HWmonitor or CAM to observe them. Note: I just noticed your cooler—maybe you could have invested in a more powerful CPU or GPU instead. Whatever you do, don’t waste money on a low-end cooler.
