I participated in all NFS games after 2004 and also enjoy the older titles. Where can I find them? Keep in mind that illegal downloads may result in fines in my country. Edit: I discovered 'The Need for Speed' (1994) from Abandonia.

I reside in the same nation as you, according to your name. However, I’m not a local and I’m unfamiliar with the regulations.

Different from others, I didn't like NFS Porsche since I was driving with Mercedes in Hot Pursuit 2.

Alternatively, Good Old Games (GOG) might include certain titles (their games generally run on most current operating systems, such as 7/8.1)

Also consider GOG and G2A options.
