Hello,

I recently purchased a Ryzen 5 2600 and an RX 590. I’m curious about the most suitable motherboard for gaming that doesn't exceed a reasonable price point within the ATX format. I’ve come across the ASUS X470 MASTER SLI/AC. However, I'm unsure whether this motherboard would be a solid choice for gaming performance. Could you advise me?

Yes. It is a very good board. Asrock makes some of the best. Check the
specs
to be sure you're not paying for something you don't need. Or missing something you do need. But $150 is a good price to pay for what it has. I'd say you could do w/o SLI or CF, but that seems standard on ATX boards now.

I’m relatively new to building PCs, and I came across a review suggesting this motherboard is primarily suitable for productivity tasks. However, since it possesses all the functionalities I require, you indicated that it’s a solid choice for gaming – would you recommend purchasing it?

The device possesses the capabilities I’m seeking, though I'm relatively unfamiliar with assembling PCs. I encountered a review suggesting this motherboard was primarily intended for office tasks and similar activities. Considering you indicated it’s a suitable choice for gaming, I'm considering purchasing it. However, I’m curious about the source of your assertion that it’s a work-oriented board. Such boards typically lack visual enhancements like RGB lighting, robust cooling for the processor and RAM, and other decorative elements. It appears to be designed solely for gaming purposes.

Interestingly, I discovered a potential issue on Newegg—some purchasers have received defective units, which is uncommon for ASRock. It's possible this was a result of initial production runs of the board.

Is there a chance it will still include lemons if I purchase it today? Also, thank you very much for your assistance – I am truly grateful!

I’m wondering if it will still come with lemons if I purchase it immediately. Thank you so much for your assistance – it’s truly appreciated!

Due to the recent collection of customer feedback, I believe I'll explore alternative options. Perhaps another board from Asrock, but not the specific one I initially considered. My previous response is being reconsidered.
