Gaming causes PC to freeze or shut down intermittently after playing.
There were issues with my gaming PC freezing unexpectedly over the last six months. I've tried adjusting the CPU temperature but the problem persists. It happens sometimes and other times, even after a full restart. I'm looking for possible solutions.
PC specifications list include an AMD Ryzen 5 5500 3.6 GHz 6-core chip, Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS with Wi-Fi, ATX AM4 board, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro memory (16 GB total), Seagate Barracuda 2 TB SSD, Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card, NVMe drives, a monitor from XFX Speedster QICK. The setup features an HP X27q 27-inch display with high refresh rate and power-efficient certification.
Other things occur when it freezes. The fans increase their noise level. It’s possible the system is overheating. You might have reset the graphics drivers by pressing Windows Key + Ctrl + Shift + B.
the fans return to their usual condition and the temperature is usually quite warm.
