I bought and am enjoying Cyberpunk like many players these days, using an older graphics card. It made me think about something. When I launch Task Manager during a game, I notice my CPU and GPU hovering around 60-80%. Neither is fully utilizing its capacity, which makes me feel like I'm missing out on performance. Am I mistaken in this assessment? My system has a Ryzen 7 2700X and a 1080, but the graphics card has been struggling lately—benchmarks from a few years ago show it underperforming compared to most modern 1080 models.

It's the first day of cyberpunk, but it's still pretty rough—your system might struggle to keep up.

Avoid using Task Manager while playing; statistics update due to lower priority handling. Run HWINFO, MSI Afterburner, or GPUZ in the background during gameplay, then switch tabs and review usage stats.

Consider which sensors are relevant for your project since you're new to this.

The 1080 rating is considered older, though not necessarily obsolete. My GTX 650 Ti Boost seems to fall into that category. The 1000 series isn’t there yet.

Likely the game isn't well optimized since it's a recent launch.

Beep or blip, what about the other titles? Cyberpunk isn't fully polished yet, but Nvidia has already dropped custom drivers.

Usually the game swings a lot. At times I see 100 frames per second, other times it drops to just 50.
