Gaming and wifi
Wireless is also significantly simpler, and most individuals are comfortable with it.
It's a bit pricey, but in Spain renting a place is usually the usual choice. You can't just poke holes in the walls for Ethernet so you're stuck buying a router or relying on Wi-Fi, which isn't ideal since your home has really thick walls.
Your home’s walls are thick, so consider linking to 2.4G if you haven’t done so yet, or place your router nearer to your PC. Alternatively, upgrade to a better router rather than using those basic "power to ethernet" devices and cables. These might actually function as Wi-Fi extenders with Ethernet ports. I’m not sure, but it seems these components are essentially just a Wi-Fi booster connected to an Ethernet port.
I’m unable to access Ethernet from my upstairs living area; instead I rely on a Wi-Fi PCI card inside my computer for internet. Running Ethernet would be limited to the family PC downstairs, which would be expensive and unfair to my brother.
Some PLCs come with Wi-Fi, but the connection is very weak and not reliable. It’s not just a simple extension or setup you can customize.
