It really varies by game, but a 1660 ti might not look great on 4K. If you're far away, 1080p should still work.

I’m planning to watch Rise of the Tomb Raider again. Since you’ll be seated about 3-4 meters away, the 1080p resolution should work well.

At that viewing distance, 1080p and 4K won’t stand out much. The 4K frame rate wouldn’t really add value either. I’d prefer a stable frame rate instead of low-quality textures and other issues.

It’s hard to believe a change would matter at 3 meters, let alone 4. Higher frame rates and better quality would stand out more.
