I recently changed from Intel to AMD and had to reinstall Windows 10. I began copying my old files, but the "GameStream" file kept appearing and I’m unsure where it’s stored or how to manage it. It’s been attempting to copy for an hour without any progress.

I'm copying files and folders, not an entire drive.

Transfer all data from an old storage to a new one (excluding the Windows folder). I will ignore any files with identical names.

There are numerous files configured with enhanced security settings. You cannot relocate or remove them while they are in use, nor can you do so without administrative rights. The only viable options are enabling safe mode or switching to a different operating system. My recommendation is to avoid attempting to move or modify the software; it may not be feasible once the OS is reinstalled. Simply keep them as they are, remove any unnecessary items, and consider using safe mode.
