You're looking for engaging 2D games to enjoy on your Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon during a vacation. Consider titles like Factorio, Age of Empires, or other strategy and simulation games that offer immersive experiences without demanding high graphics performance. These should work well on your device's specs.

Shovel Knight Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe Stardew Valley IDK if Rocket League or Minecraft will run smoothly with just integrated graphics. I can play Planetside 2 on integrated, but I’ll always cap at 26 FPS near corners. Those are just a few of my top picks.

The Carbon X1 was released in 2014. It offered low to medium detail settings, making it suitable for business use rather than gaming.

In Darkest Dungeon, FTL Minecraft can run smoothly with enough RAM, but explosions of TNT may cause performance issues.

Thanks! I’ll give them a shot, but I’m really not into Minecraft. It’s been a total letdown. I’ve got Stardew Valley and RollerCoaster too—those games actually work.

They already made the purchase, but I didn’t notice or it was a long time ago, even though everyone around me is excited about it

Minecraft works well on her system. She uses an iGPU from her i5 6400 and enjoys several game modes. She also plays Elder Scrolls Online and likes the Heroes of Might and Magic series.

Elder Scrolls Online typically runs around 60 frames per second, though performance can vary based on hardware and settings.
