Popular choices include games like The Witcher 3, Far Cry 4, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, and Tomb Raider series. For Asphalt titles, consider GTA V, Tomb Raider, and Rise of the Tomb Raider. It's definitely an incredible story with great characters and a captivating vibe. Also, the initial episode is available for free on Steam!

My top picks that fit these preferences include Bioshock, Deus Ex, Metro, Witcher, Dishonored, and Dark Souls titles. For brand new releases this year, Nier: Automata and Prey have stood out. The only Assassin's Creed games I've managed to play were Syndicate and the 2D versions (China, India, Russia). I'm sure my views on AssCreed aren't widely shared.

Thanks, I'll look into it—still not familiar with them, but I hope life is strange works.

Consider playing both Bioshock and Dark Souls for a balanced experience. Dark Souls offers challenging gameplay, while Bioshock adds narrative depth. Together they provide variety and enrichment.

None of these titles follow a clear narrative progression. You won’t need to revisit earlier games to appreciate the later ones. In my view, Bioshock and Bioshock 2 outperform Bioshock Infinite. Dark Souls III seems the most accessible for newcomers thanks to refined controls and a modern interface, while Dark Souls I on PC often needs modding to function properly. Dark Souls II is typically seen as the least polished of the series. For the Dark Souls games, using an Xbox or PS4 controller would be ideal; otherwise, you might want to wait for better hardware.
