I haven’t received my 2016 MacBook Pro for gaming. It would be helpful to know which games fit it, either running on MacOS or via a Windows 10 setup. My machine is equipped with an i5 processor and Intel Iris Graphics 540, along with 8 gigabytes of RAM. I’m not looking to buy an external graphics card. I’ve checked the Steam store using hardware specs, but it seems you might not be able to find compatible titles.

I use a desktop for intense gaming, but my 2015 MacBook Pro supports titles such as Pyre, Night in the Woods, Transistor, Hotline Miami, and even older games like Half life 2. These should perform well on newer models too.

I play games nonstop on a 6-year-old MacBook Pro with just 8GB RAM. CS:GO is smooth at 40-60 FPS, Terraria at 30-50 FPS (a bit choppy but boss fights work), Civ V is 30-40 FPS (slow), Minecraft runs 40-65 FPS with only a few particles, Dark Souls 2 at 40 FPS (boot camp windows), Team Fortress 2 40-60 FPS (still low), and Middle Earth-like games 20-40 FPS with lots of windowed performance. Lol

These are top-notch titles featuring stunning visuals. (Just kidding, some e-sports could fit too.)

The controls in Civ 5 function smoothly with the built-in touch pad gestures.

You're welcome! Yes, Firewatch does benefit from a GPU for optimal performance.

Recently tried playing poly bridge on my 2017 13-inch. The thermal throttling happened... If you use low settings and windowed mode, you should be okay.

Which mouse is best for you? With the Thunderbolt 3 to USB adapter, I tried a Logitech model I really like, but it didn’t connect properly with the keyboard. I’m familiar with adjusting the mouse settings.
