I enjoy podcasts but can't focus while working, so I considered gaming. However, games usually don't support audio playback. Any alternatives you have in mind? (I can handle EMUs)

Super Meat Boy, Terraria, Don't Starve, binding issues, Isaac Child of Light, possibly an MMORPG.

Minecraft, NBA 2K, and other things you can enjoy easily without much effort. I also like podcasts.

Great suggestion, but I'm caught up in a Pokémon mood right now—it pops in and out. That's awesome, Meat Boy is solid! Though I've already tried it Sad along with the rest except "Child of Light." I'll check that one out! I know about Hotline Miami, though I usually ignore it. Now I'm considering it after reviewing it. They mentioned Child of Light is a UBI game, so I'm quitting all UBI titles and won't even play AC:U, even though they're giving it away... They should start filling that gap before I ever pick a game they make.

I recommend Minecraft because it's been my favorite for a long time. If you like that style, try Euro Truck Simulator 2. There are plenty of racing games available too.

Play a few minutes of Minecraft or another easy game. Meat boys are also a solid choice.

I’ve been playing this game for years with all the major mods, but eventually it started feeling repetitive. I decided to stop for a while until new updates came out to refresh things.
