I just got Dota 2 on my PC and my brother upgraded his machine. We plan to play together, but his system needs all the game files over 18GB. Can we share his game data so he can run it without installing everything himself? It would save time and effort.

Ensure you paste the relevant files from the Dota 2 folder into his Steam/SteamApps directory. Then proceed to install via Steam. The system will recognize and confirm the presence of the files.
