No settings are in game mode, even the MSI gaming app is in silent mode.

It doesn't matter whether the game mode is active or not. Other factors continue to affect things. This happened to me with Overwatch as well. Be sure everything is unchecked.

It doesn't function properly. The display shakes when attempting to switch to full screen, then resets to a windowed view immediately.
