My game consistently runs at 60fps, which is acceptable. However, whenever I press pause and move the mouse to another monitor or even just press the Windows key, the frame rate spikes in the game but returns to 60fps when I return. I have two 165Hz monitors and VSync remains disabled across all titles. Even without it, AMD Adrenalin software also stays off. This issue occurs in games ranging from Warzone 2.0 to Halo: Combat Evolved. In some screenshots the one with Windows Start shows spikes, while others stay at 60fps. Occasionally it hits 70fps when I press Start or switch windows, but sometimes it climbs to 130fps. Specs: I5-10400F, AMD RX 6700 GIGABYTE Z590 Elite, 32GB Corsair RAM.

The game includes options for adjusting the audio frequency, and certain titles limit frame rates based on your display's refresh speed.

I'm working at 165 Hz and have adjusted to lower frequencies without any improvement, and fullscreen doesn't affect the frame rate.

What game is this? Have you confirmed it isn’t merely a menu cap, since some titles limit FPS in the main options?

Hello! I understand your issue. Your frame rate is at 25 fps, but I can help you troubleshoot or adjust settings if needed. Let me know how you'd like to proceed! Thank you!
