Hey everyone, I’ve been through a rough patch lately. Overeating and heavy lifting really took a toll on my health, so I started jogging indoors while gaming. It paid off—I lost about 7kg in three months. My doctor was concerned about possible drug use or eating disorders, but it turned out I was just managing my weight. I’ve been playing games on Steam or Xbox, mostly video titles, and even trying Civilization V with a controller didn’t really hook me. Now I’m stuck without controller support for the games I love. I managed to pick up some controller-friendly titles like Borderlands 2, but FPS games feel less engaging when you’re distracted. I checked online for recommendations and found Torchlight 2 and Civ V are worth a look if they drop in price. Any suggestions for games that work well with controllers? TL;DR: I’m looking for addictive games that support controllers.

Here’s a refreshed version of your list:

Super Meatboy, Test Drive Unlimited 2, Dark Souls, GTA IV, Super Hexagon, Beat Hazard, Audiosurf, Bit Trip Runner, LA Noire, Portal 2, Grid, Thomas Was Alone.
These are the titles I own and enjoy, they work well with controllers and are fun to play.

GTA IV, Trials Fusion, Watch Dogs, Portal – Brothers – A Tale Of Two Sons is also great, though you’ll spend roughly 2 to 4 hours playing from it.

AC franchise, Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising. I'll share more when I recall them.

I had this problem playing Halo Reach, almost broke my knee, and I sucked so I stopped playing, right nov CivV is on sale, tho no controller support but These two give me hope there is a way to play CivV normally with a controller, but damn dude 13€ is a lot, I could buy 4 games with that, but Civ as far as I've heard is addictive as hell
