In certain games, everything freezes for about 5 seconds and a long beep occurs when using headphones. I use headphones via my Xbox One wired controller, not directly on my PC, so it might be related to that setup. I have an RTX 3070 with the latest drivers and an i7-9700f processor. I'm new to this and don't have much detail, so I'm unsure what information to provide. What I've tried online doesn't seem connected to this problem.
Welcome to the forums, newcomer! Could you share the make and model of your PSU and its age? Did you remove your previous GPU drivers using DDU, then installed the newest ones from Nvidia's support site? Should you install them via an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator? Additionally, what operating system version are you using and which BIOS version do you have installed (including your motherboard's make and model)?
INWIN PSU 650W A SERIES A65, recently purchased, brand new gaming PC overall.
I haven't used DDU before, just installed the latest Nvidia drivers recently. No changes made, just downloaded and let it run.
