Are there any other titles that combine horror and first-person shooter aspects similar to F.E.A.R.? I’ve enjoyed the latest Prey and found it somewhat reminiscent of F.E.A.R., and I’m looking for more games with this mix—avoiding zombie or pure horror styles but including FPS elements. Thanks.

They all share the same narrative with the same character (Artyom). I've gone through the initial game and only played a bit of Last Light (second installment). I believe you could easily follow most of the story, especially if you're looking for quick action and don't mind missing some details. There was likely a summary at the start of Last Light to explain what happened in the first game. I didn’t have time to explore Last Light further, so I’m unsure how much of the story is covered or what you should know from the beginning.
