Correct. Most CPUs will stay idle at 30-35, some around 40C. Gaming demands will be 60-70C most of the time. (assuming normal cooling.) There is no chance your system can reach a gaming CPU load of 34C. That's what it should be idling at. GPUs generate more heat, Depending on the card they can reach 75-90C, some may even hit 100C. The only explanation that makes sense is idle temperatures, which doesn't clarify anything. You need to track your load temperatures.

I have a Corsair RM750X and still face problems, with both Hell Let Loose and Elden Ring crashing. With Hell Let Loose I received the LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 198]. Unreal Engine stopped because the D3D device disappeared. (Error code 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG') after roughly two minutes. In Elden Ring it lasted about five minutes before crashing. I used MSI Afterburner to monitor temperatures; my GPU stayed between 108-124F and CPU between 116-131F. I’m really hoping this isn’t due to my graphics card. I’ve never overclocked it and only used it for gaming. It came new from NVIDIA in 2019 (2060 Super).

I also attempted a benchmark in Cyberpunk but it crashed before loading. At the highest point before the crash, the GPU temperature reached 135°F and usage climbed to 92%.

For or not, the shift in usage is understandable. A crash when the CPU reaches 108C makes sense. 108F is only 42.2C.
The D3D device is the video card, so I suspect the issue lies there. Maybe the card is failing? I’d try swapping GPUs with a friend to check if the problem persists.

I have doubts about how to use this.
I checked the reliability settings and Windows, and found these reasons for crashes. I’m not sure if this data is useful.

I discovered that my coworker has a comparable build and also uses a 2060 Super. He entered my card into his profile and reported that games were crashing, though he claims this doesn’t affect his build. I reached out to NVIDIA to inquire about warranty support.

It definitely seems like a GPU is malfunctioning.

Final Update: NVIDIA honored their warranty even though I was a few months past their 3-year period. The process with them took time, and they required many tasks from me. The problem was related to my graphics cards, and they provided a refurbished one, which is now working perfectly. Thank you all!
