I bought it individually. I verify with cpu-z whether it uses dual-channel. Yes, it does.
Consider adjusting the BIOS speed to 2666 and observe the effect. Although it might not be the best setting, most B450 boards support a maximum clock speed of 2666 before the system flags the RAM as overclocked (MAX and X470 could vary). It might be worth testing. There might be problems with VRM power delivery or similar issues.
