The system is an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X (with stock cooler) on an ASRock B450M Steel Legend motherboard, utilizing an Intel 660p Series 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive, G.Skill Flare X Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory, and an EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB XC GAMING Video Card powered by an EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply. When launching games, the system initially runs correctly before experiencing intermittent crashes characterized by a brief freeze followed by abrupt termination. Crash times vary. Driver uninstallation and reinstallation have been performed, along with component stress testing. Prime95’s Large FFTs test resulted in a blue screen (kmode_exception_not_handled). Windows memory diagnostics returned clean results. A Kernal Security Check Failure occurred during a crash, prompting System File Checker to identify and repair corrupted files. While a driver issue is suspected, further troubleshooting beyond driver management remains uncertain.
Sixty-four and seventy-two respectively. Cooling appears to be an issue with my GPU, reaching eighty degrees Celsius during stress testing.
I have reviewed my BIOS and all other drivers. It is possible that malware is causing the issue. If I cannot resolve the problem by this weekend, I will perform a fresh installation of the operating system. I am attempting to rule out faulty memory; I ran Memtest overnight, and although I did not receive any errors after four hours, the system crashed at some point during the night.
