Hey everyone,
I've been experiencing some problems over the past two weeks while gaming. I've noticed occasional freezes that last just a few seconds, along with complete crashes in several games. The issues were most noticeable with Planet Zoo and Assassins Creed Valhalla, which should have run smoothly on my system. I updated the drivers, Windows, and checked the game files, but nothing worked.

Here are my PC specifications:
- CPU: Intel 10600K
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG strix Z490-A
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
- Power Supply: Corsair RM750x
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
- GPU: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Windforce
- CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i PRO
- SSD: Samsung 860 EVO

I checked the reliability monitor, and whenever a crash happened, it showed the same event code: Live Kernel Event 141. The temperatures look normal, but after a few hours of play, the game would still be running.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

What BIOS version do you have installed on your motherboard? You're running version 1909 for Windows 10, while we're at version 20H2—this means you're not fully updated with the operating system. I recommend backing up any important data and reinstalling the OS after creating a bootable USB using Windows Media Creation Tools. After installation, manually install all necessary drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's support page and Nvidia's site, running them in an elevated command prompt by right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

I updated the BIOS and OS and that resolved the problem, no more issues. Thanks!
